Description
A bold, sweet-heat mango habanero wing sauce made from scratch in under 20 minutes. Sticky, spicy, and full of flavor—perfect for wings, tacos, or dipping.
Ingredients

1 large ripe mango (or 1 cup frozen mango chunks, thawed)

2–3 habanero peppers, seeds removed (adjust to taste)

2 garlic cloves, chopped

1 small onion, chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil

¼ cup apple cider vinegar

Juice of 1 lime

2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar

¼ teaspoon salt

2–4 tablespoons water (optional, for thinning)
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.

Add garlic and onion; cook until softened (about 2–3 minutes).

Stir in mango and habaneros; cook another 3 minutes.

Add vinegar, lime juice, honey (or sugar), and salt.

Simmer for 5–6 minutes until mango softens.

Remove from heat. Let cool slightly.

Blend until smooth, adding water if needed to adjust thickness.

Taste and adjust seasoning or heat.

Use immediately or refrigerate for up to 1 week.

Toss with wings, use as dip, or brush onto grilled meats.
Notes

For milder heat, use only 1 habanero or remove all seeds.
